Construction crews are putting the finishing touches on Club Nomadic, a temporary 62,500-square-foot nightclub that will delight music fans during Super Bowl week in Houston.

The venue, at 2121 Edwards, near Washington Avenue, will be able to hold 9,000 people on its three floors, organizers said. On Thursday, February 2, The Chainsmokers and Sam Hunt will play the venue. The following evening, Bruno Mars headlines the bill. Taylor Swift will grace the stage for the final concert on Saturday, the day before the Super Bowl.

Edwards Street, between Sawyer and Silver, will be closed to through traffic from 4 p.m.-4 a.m. all three nights. There is no public parking at Club Nomadic. Guests are encouraged to park at the 1600 Smith Garage. Free shuttle service will be provided from the garage to the venue, with drop-off at Silver and Edwards streets.

Shuttle pick-up following each concert will be on Silver Street between Edwards and Dart streets and will take attendees back to the garage. Club officials also encourage the use of Uber and taxis. Drop-off will be on Silver Street between Bingham and Winter streets. Post-event pick up will be in front of the venue on Edwards. All other pick ups will be directed to Silver Street, between Bingham and Winter streets.

Parking on local streets is "highly discouraged." No parking signs will be posted from Spring Street to Center Street and from Sawyer to Washington Avenue. Towing will be heavily enforced.

Construction began from scratch just two months ago. Mayor Sylvester turner told local Houston media that he is under the impression the club will be dismantled and removed from the site after the Super Bowl, but the property's owner declined to say whether the structure would be torn down.
